ABOUT ME
I’m Derrick Lassey, a marketing strategist, producer, and creative consultant based in Washington, DC.
I help brands, creatives, businesses, and film projects turn strong ideas into work that is clear, structured, and ready to move. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution, where a concept becomes a campaign, rollout, pitch, production plan, or creative project with direction behind it.
My background includes hands on marketing experience and a digital marketing certification from George Washington University, with work across campaign strategy, paid advertising, content planning, creative rollout, pitch development, and production support.
I got into marketing because I care about how ideas are positioned and how people connect to them. To me, marketing is not just content. It is story, timing, audience, presentation, and execution working together with purpose.
That same belief carries into my work as a producer. Strong creative projects need more than inspiration. They need structure, planning, materials, and a clear path toward being seen.
I help shape that foundation, so the work is not just made, posted, or presented, but positioned to reach the right people and move with purpose.
